Are free Disney World tickets a good deal?

Do free Disney World ticket really save you money? Disney just started giving away free park tickets to anyone who volunteers with their hand-picked organization. This is on top of giving guests free tickets for a birthday present. But is this really a good deal. Free tickets to Walt Disney World, what could be better? Let's do a little math. Most of us go to Disney World for several days. If you buy a Magic Your Way ticket for more than 3 days each additional day costs a whole $3.00. So if you get a free day at Disney World, you are saving a whopping $3.00. That's not very much. Yes, Disney will give you an alternative gift worth around $75.00 if you go on your birthday, but not if you volunteer. If you live within driving distance and only want to visit WDW for a single day, (you're a little crazy) you will save a chunk of money, but for us normal people that have to fly in, we don't save very much. |
