How to avoid Disney World Crowds

Crowds at Walt Disney World are a pain. Most of the year, the crowds at Disney World are at uncomfortable levels. Some times they're outright unmanageable. Then there are the two (yeah, it's more than two, but point made) days that nobody shows up. So how do you avoid crowds? Here are some tips. #1 - Get to the parks early - At Walt Disney World, the early bird gets the worm, or at least the slowest time of the day. The lines are shorter the first hour of the day than at any other time. #2 - Use Fastpass - Disney's Fastpass program let's you bypass the line and walk right on the ride. It's available at most of the busier rides. #3 - Do your homework - Check out the maps before you get there so you know where you're going. Make a plan. If you don't waste time reading maps or riding rides that none of the family wants to you'll be way ahead of most of the guests. #4 - Stop and Smell the Roses - Walt Disney World is not going anywhere. It has some mind blowing extras. Slow down and check out the little things. Find some hidden Mickey's. There are a lot of things that go into avoiding Disney crowds. It's a little work, but it's worth the time.
